Tapestries – Interwoven voices of local and global identities
Sujet : Tapestries purposefully weaves multiple histories, voices, and languages together into a space where a plurality of knowledge can manifest. This journal engages in conversations– both locally and globally– through all media as they pertain to identities such as race, gender, ethnicity, class, nation, ability, and sexuality. From these points of entry, this scholarship explores new spatial imaginaries and celebrates difference in an effort to redefine learning, thinking, and the internalization of knowledges. Tapestries is produced by the American Studies Department, Macalester College.
